His defense, and defusing of attacking kicks, though a lot more sample size due to only 10-15 NRL games played, suggest to me he will probably become a better player than RTS. At about 600-700k a season for the next 5 years he will probably end up a bargain and the best $3-3.5m dollars you can spend in the NRL especially considering I'm led to believe his contract runs to 2022.
you could throw in he looks like a handy goal kicker too !

Doesn’t Connor Watson play second receiver for them or is he off the bench this week?

It looks like it’s ours to lose and there’s no way we can get beat except by ourselves. Newcastle are a much better side and can give us a run for our money but we should walk all over them if we play to our potential. Only the roosters can beat themselves in this game so a win or loss will be at our own hands.

Stapo was a better FB than all of them.

I don't think so but am looking forward to when he does. I haven't seen a lot of him but I recall that he is quite slick and tidy from dummy half. Don't know much about his defensive capabilities though.

He has been picked at 5/8 for all their games but go's into dummy half when they bring Lamb on.
Wouldnt surprise me at all if he has a top game on Sunday night.

                    General Burkhalter was the best.

Yes indeed, although Sgt Schulz featured in this clip, plenty of this schooling done tomorrow evening would be good.

It wasn't even a points decision.

                        A knockout to Cooper Cronk.

Great summary before the game though. Well done.

Watched the game from behind the posts and it was really noticeable how Cronk positioned players when attacking. Pushing forwards into positions etc. for the whole game.
Last year we would have got to that lead then squandereded it with no rudder... as ever as last week.
Love to see the stats on halves in relation to 5th tackle kicks in the attacking zone.
How many get a repeat set and how many give away 7 tackles or fail to get a result... what's the percentage like.

Each week Cronk is showing why we bought him, he is a thousand times better than Pearce. I've never really liked Pearce, to me he always resembled a deer caught in the headlights. Cronk owned him yesterday, we're going to go very close to winning premiership no14.
