Andrew Walker was one I remember and Kenny Wright too back in the early 80's- still filthy on Kenny Wright in that first round game back in 1979 vs Balmain - had the first try double of Larry Corowa and Kenny Wright for $200 - Larry scored his and Kenny Wright should have but he passed it to Kevin Hastings instead who scored - bad day as we won the craven mild pre-season comp against Balmain the week before.

Royce Ayliffe and John Harvey were both Sent off - Greg Owens who had a dickie ankle from the Craven mild cup final came off as well as Fairfax and Schubert all injured - ended up with 10 players - the days were the two reserves had to play at least half a game in a lower grade to be eligible to be a reserve for 1st grade - Even with a 3 man scrum we still go penalised for a second row feed - go figure

Since last years SOO where Cronk put that low hard bomb to his left to score a try, I was wondering when we’d see a special kick from him. Finally a player for us that can see where there’s space to use a chip & chase.

Cronk played it as he saw it and executes perfectly. Keary is 110% enthusiasm and timed his run to perfection. Radley right place right time and now he's on the highlight reels. That was a corker.
