  • Anasta and co

Just heard on the radio that there's a team meeting this morning and that Anasta and the rest of the team will decide what action they will take with the 3 alcos

Nearly half of the leadership group (myles & fpn) was out on the piss, the remaining members (probably Anasta,Mini,Ryles, maybe Perritt), we will see who has the bigger balls. The plot thickens.

Surely means they won't be sacked then?

Depends, if 22 of the team were able to keep off the drink and out of the lime light and 3 decided they thought they were better than the rest and went out drinking then there may be enough lost trust to warrant a vote for their sacking.

Yes they broke the team rules and got caught, but I don't buy for one minute other players didn't have a drink at home.

Dead set I wish we never let the likes of Morley and Fitzy go. These guys had their heads screwed on and were a great influence and you can't tell me they would be worse then any player we have on the field currently. Say what you want about Anastas performance this year but at least the guy respects the club enough to not act like a fool.

You are probably right, there would be players that have a drink at home......thats the point, some have the smarts to do things where they cannot be seen. What happens at home is their own business.

When players are out in the open for all to see............the rules change.

                  Probably the opposite.

I remember the only three players who weren't downing Crownies at post match functions were Morley, Perrett and Fitzy.

Are the guys that sit at home having a couple of beers staying up till 2am and later and getting hammered? I doubt it somehow.

Suprising as I saw him out off his face on many occassions.

Dubs, I'm going on what I saw. I know Morley had a alcohol ban on him from over in England.

I guess there is a time and a place, and he decided not to drink at club events. Whilst it was earlier in his career with us, he was no angel on the drink.

Just because they were out late doesn't necessarily mean they were hammered.
