Wonder what he is on, out of interest? Be guessing at least $350k or so?

Excellent performance last night and getting better. Another example that the Cronk professionalism effect has had. That long chip and catch was typical of origin in the maroon team. The only problem with him at the moment is he’s play the ball which he still goes over the ball and did it again or came very close to doing it again after he got pinned for it. The downside to his form is he’ll ask for more and if we don’t give it another club will. On this form he deserves it but if we do it too early he might have another Fergo moment..

I acknowledge Fergo is not the freeloader anymore but to compare his style of play to his Canberra days is not the case. His game has changed due to those 2 injuries firstly the foot then the other ankle.

He's looking the best he's looked since making a return to the NRL for us.

In line with what the commentators said about Teddy last night, I think his style has adapted to suit a more talented/structured team.

IMO playing for a more ad-lib, unstructured team forces you to just take the pill, go hard and try ANYTHING to score points. Fergo can still score something outta nothing, just his license to do this every time he touches the ball has been revoked.

He is back to that level, no doubt about it. It's just his job in a well oiled machine doesn't require to be the blockbusting centre he was at the Raiders in 2012-2013. If anything he has slightly less errors in his game now. Perhaps he doesn't use his footwork like he used to which could be down to the injuries he has had. But I reckon his power running is as strong perhaps even stronger. As long as he finishes tryscoring moments and keeps on making 200m a game with less errors than in the past then he is going just as well as he was with the Raiders.

I would re-sign him, but I wouldn't resign him (sorry...English teacher in me).

                    I finally voted.
If Fergo keeps this form up, it won't be long before his manager will be getting offers significantly higher than what we're paying him.
