  • How quickly you all forget!

The Club owes Carney a duty of care.

    Hahahahahhahhahahahaha......

I tried to tell you guys otherwise earlier this year but you just couldn't see the blatantly obvious.

I can't believe the are still people wanting to cling on to this delinquent!

Idiotic comments abound today: they shouldn't have a ban in place; blame the cabbie; no big deal, they're just out drinking like the rest of society......

The people responsible for this disastrous season are exactly those apologists. That's not being a fan, that's just being a moron. Real fans demand professionalism and changes when required, from the top down.

"But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this, your brother, was dead, and is alive again. He was lost, and is found."

    — Luke 15:32

Coetzee, The life and times of Michael k, offers a new twist on the parable. The reason why the father favours the returned to the staid, dutiful son is because the prodigal represents a threat to the system. Better appease the rogue, the sheep will remain sheep. It's the secret of patriarchy.

I would not call someone who makes half a million a year a delinquent.

I have no problem calling you a dumbass.

How 'dumbass' is the club for not doing something about this sooner?

We ALL saw this coming and there are those of us who have been voicing this for a while now. The viewers were warned. Only a few wanted to listen. Enjoy the flood dice, the ark has foated away!

I can't see him getting out of this.

Surely this is the beginning of the big sweep out.

Carney had a drink, oh no, how unprofessional... just like most other NRL players, or the masses of people who go out for a drink at Friday lunchtime despite it clearing stated in their personnel handbook they are not allowed to drink. I might go for a beer on Friday... please don't get me sacked.

If you believe Roosters poor performances this year are all about Carney or the drinking culture that goes on at every single club then you are a dumbass as well.

As for Objective View, he thinks we all forget. But I remember quite clearly how he applauded the Titan's "handling" of criminal offender Matthew White who was charged with high-range drink driving. It seems the "Objective" one is quite happy for criminals to be given minor punishment, but when a Roosters player commits a misdemeanour he wants them sacked or locked in prison.

We need a no dickhead policy.
We keep signing dickheads who are or used to be good players, watch them **** up several times and give them slaps on the wrist until we finally realise we have wasted serious money and end up punting them.
Once we do that we then go on and sign the next biggest dickhead and the circle of dickheads continues.
Get rid of all the scum from our club I don't care how good a player they are. They seem to have no respect for our club. They might say they do but their actions say otherwise.

                    Piss them off!

Exactly. Its not just that they were drinking, its the fact they went behind their teammates backs and broke an agreement that the team had in place. This wasn't some draconian measure the club had put in place, but something that the team had agreed to in order to save the club from more embarrassment. Carney, Myles and FPN showed what they think about the team and the club by their actions. They don't care.

The players all agreed on a no booze policy. He broke that trust as did Miles and FPN. That is not acceptable
