The big unit was outstanding today.

I rate that his best game for the club to date - he really tried to step up after Nate left the field..impressive.

Needs some mates though.

Checked the stats and the forwards did OK with the noted exceptions, Ryles did have a dig, Guerra did what he could with limited time. It was interesting to watch Ant Mitchell and Friendy work like a pair of pig dogs pulling down their big forwards.

Fried is contracted for next year and Ryles has signed a one year extension. Only Guerra is off contract.

I just don't want to get into a bidding war over Guerra he's an excellent backrower but clearly injury prone and we already have cripple Cherrington on the books. Especially since we have Aubusson who plays the same game style as Guerra. We signed FPN on overs after a purple patch of form and Guerra could be the same if we sign him on overs.

I don't think Aubbo and Guerra are anything alike.

Aubbo can hit a good hole, has safe hands and is a top defender with some brains to boot.

Guerra can be best compared with Watmough. Awkward to tackle, has a bit of toe to go with his explosiveness.

Friend is signed and said in the Big League article that he wants to stay beyond that.
