Lol glad I am not but you do have to realize that anything can happen throughout the season due to injuries and the like that can ruin a teams chances regardless of what roster they had at the start of the season also unlike last year we don't have a specialist kicker so like 2016 we could well end up losing those close games we won last season due to Flash being in the side.

In 2016 we had a specialist kicker in Jackson Hastings. However, he got politically blackballed by the powers that be and we instead gave the duties to a large forward because he’s the only guy who can kick straight.

2018 will be different. However, I’ll be disappointed if Cronk, Keary or Teddy cannot all kick. Sorry, but at least 3 or 4 people should be in the elite category for conversion kicking. If you are on ~$1 million a season for your technical ability rather than your size, kicking is a prerequisite.

Not having a go but....In saying all that we don't have a specialist goal kicker this season and it screams of how poor aspects of our recruitment and retention are.. Why did we let Flash go if we didn't have a like for like replacement ?

The fact that Whacko Jacko was crap at halfback and had an attitude problem were the reasons he was punted from the Chooks side. It's not as if he's done much at Manly either.

How about we postpone the bleating about the lack of goal kicker until a few weeks into the comp - give those in line for the task a chance to prove themselves first. We may be pleasantly surprised.

Umm other than Reece Robinson (average at best) and Tedesco (which from memory wasn't the best goal kicker at the tigers) we have already seen what Latrell and SST are capable of in 2016 hence why we went after Flash...
