Attempting to answer your question is that he has gone for stem cell therapy for his troublesome knee. That suggests to me he will attempt to have a much better year in 2018.....

Also, just looking at the movement between clubs, it looks like only the Cowboys and Many have signed less new players than the Roosters, so compared with most clubs we are pretty stable for next year....

Cronk, Teddy and Crichton are all top-shelf players who we think can grab us a premiership. Guerra, Carter, SKD, Gordon, Watson, Nikorima, Pearce...etc are either flogs, crack sniffers, asking too much or being replaced by highly superior talent.

This is our strategic plan. While a rd 1 loss isn,t ideal, it is better than choking in the preliminary finals.

One of our deficiencies last year was our defence. Maybe they are trying to fix that up first.

As JC has said give it 6 or so weeks, our forwards are what have me worried yet our pack last year was quite dodgy too anyway......
