What if Cronk goes down injured?

Fair question. After losing Pearce and Watson in 1 year, what do we do if Cronk pops his shoulder during a game and goes down in agony?

Not wishing us bad luck or anything, but have we got a backup plan? Are we confident that one of our young halves will basically be doing a 2 year internship with Cronk, and will be good enough to take over if he goes down or is playing Origin?

I'm hoping CC doesn't play Origin next year. I understand his commitment to Qld (and his great service) but he only has a small window of opportunity with us and I would hate to see him get injured/exhausted during the Origin campaign.

With Morgan and Munster, the maroons have good back-up.

Perhaps he could make himself unavailable but, if the series goes to a decider and one of the halves is injured, he could step in for one game.
