I think getting rid of Napa is ridiculous, unless we have better options lined up? He is a QLD rep and while he had a very average prelim, who are we going to replace him with? Who's available now?
I would be more than happy to let the time-bomb Fergo go. But again who are we replacing him with? Because we don't have enough depth to let him go without a replacement.
It is a clean out, you should know the reasons why, not entirely footy related

Started the season slowly but finished in career best form.

Such a different middle third player to any other out there too, his career has been fascinating so far.
Until he dropped a ball cold in the prelim that led to the avalanche.

On Napa... Agree but instead if sacking him I suggest you coach the hunger back in him.. Also Latu has been released by Penrith

Latu already signed with the Titans..
Would’ve come in handy next to JWH!

            He wanted too much money.

Hopefully young Collins, complete with mullet and missing tooth, comes good in 2018. He might take a little time to adapt, but I reckon there is more promise in him than Parra bound Jane Evans.

True. Evans reached his potential. Collins hasn't.

I would suggest that Evans didn't actually reach the potential he showed when he was younger. Very disappointed in how insipid he turned out to be 90% of the time.

For sure. When I use to watch him in the 20s I thought he would be a world beater. I also though he was better than Napa.

He had a complete lack of killer instinct and very little aggro in him, apart from the occasional rush of blood that I'm sure he regretted later. Mind you, that didn't stop him giving away penalties.

Hopefully Mullet Man has a little more fire in him - I'll cop the penalties if we get some good yardage and bang on tackles out of him.

Hayne's mooted return to the Eels should eat up any cap money they had lying around for Napa, unless they're planning a major offloading. Still doesn't rule out Newcastle. We could do with another experienced front rower. The alternative is to do what Tonga did. Play SST up front and that leaves JWH and Napa, presuming he stays, along with Tetavano, Vunakece, and King Ripper Collins.

It's not as if we have a shortage of forwards with Butcher, Smith, Porter and Tupouniua waiting in the wings and Cordner, Liu, Aubusson and a much improved Matterson on hand. Just that we could use a bit more experience and size. Props take years to develop and Collins shows promise but will still struggle with the pace and consistency of first grade week in week out at this stage.

Like I said I'm happy to get rid of Flake. But we will need to get a replacement. It doesn't have to be a star. But even with Manu and Latrell in the centres (which I like) and Toops and Flash on the wings, we have no-one as back-up if any one of them goes down injured. Oh unless of course Robbo plans to put Aubo and Matto in the centres again. Gee I hope not.
