But where does it go?? a prop and a centre at say $400k & $600k each or a superstar past player at a mil?

If SBW really does want to come back and is not happy with Rugby as media is speculating then yes I would go after him for 1 more year as it would be interesting seeing him run off Cronk.

However, Crighton is a solid player but we have enough forwards in my opinion. I am hoping that we are not making a play for Jarryd Hayne, or do we make a play to bring back RTS in 2019 when Gordon has moved on?

I don't know about signing new players, but a large chunk of that money will be needed to look after players off contract in 2019.

If we spent the $$$$$ on a prop or centre or both (I wish we would, if anything decent was available) , I don't know who we could let go at the end of 2018 to look after Cords, Keary, SST. Tets, etc, etc in 2019......
