Nah it was gonna be Klemmer but now its Woodsy we are getting.
So we've signed Junior Paulo, Haynesy, Crighton & Woodsy. Ah plus them other 2, Cronky & Teddy.
      Go the Gronks.

Klemmer would be a great signing but we'd probably end up with one of the Morris twins!

And we're keeping Pearcey on the bench to play 20 minutes.

Just disagreeing with the notion that we wouldn't want a known pisshead as our captain when Freddy is one of the most celbrated captains in the history of our proud club.

If someone is perceived to be a great captain their past and what they do in their free time is quickly forgotten. Freddy and Mini are a testament to that.
You did compare the 2, everyone is awake to you twisting the facts to suit your pathetic arguments, Fittler was a leader on the field, someone the troops would rally behind, bleed for and play for, agreed he was a toss bag away from footy, yet never disgraced himself and was also happy to volunteer time at junior and corporate events.

Pearce is completely opposite in every regard, a poor on field leader, a poor off field leader, when I lived in Aus I went to many Roosters corporate events and Pearce would have a couple of brews, begrudgingly talk to a couple of sponsors and be first to leave. Freddy would stay, drink and be last to leave.

Anasta poor on field leader, but off field an absolute champ.

on the flip side I also witnessed him at Rooster fan days mixing well with the kids and families when no alcohol was involved, I know he says he does not have a problem, but that is the problem, until he realizes, finding Buddhism, rehab crap, booze bans etc etc will do nothing because according to him there is nothing to fix.

the bloke has done more backflips than Rick Diznic

But wait, now I remember, that was Finch's fault wasn't it. The whipping boy before Mitch. In fact our No. 7's have been the scapegoats since Hastings Snr retired. Wonder if Cronk can break that cycle.
Thats because between Wing and Cronk our number 7s have been dismal failures and carried by the 6s, pathetic on and off the field, covering a turd with a flavored topping of your choice will in fact still be a turd

I didn't take you as the sensitive type Thracian. I was agreeing with R6's post about comparing Pearce and Fittler's off-field antics. Fittler is always forgiven for his antics because he was a great player and great on field leader. Have you forgotten what he got up to as our coach? Talk about embarrassing our great club! I remember 2009 as being the only year of my 40 year support where I can say I was truly embarrassed to be an Easts supporter. And it wasn't because we ended up with the spoon, it was the continual embarrassing off field behaviour of the team which unfortunately Fittler was also a part of.

Also, read my other posts on Pearce as I've made it quite clear I am not a fan or a boy.

Like I said, if you get your wish and Pearce moves on, your post count on here will reduce by 75%. Perhaps you will have to go and stalk the fan forum of his new club instead?

You're comparing him to Fittler again after telling me not to.

You're killing me with the irony.

Never disgraced himself in public? Neither did Pearce then.
