Talk about a beat up. I have no doubt that he was trying to be somewhat supportive to an ex-team mate. Get some perspective on this and don't gobble to media hype that is being put around this. Sure he has made some mistakes that were probably errs in judgement.

What he does need to realise is that alcohol is the common element is these things and that alcohol is not his friend.

IMO this is a modern day example of society’s attitude to decent black fellow v scumbag white trash. Fergo’s got his shyte together and offered this POS his support. What happens? POS files a false allegation against Fergo (probably because he said GTFO I have a kid here and don’t do drugs you wanka) and then straight away Fergo’s got 2 pigs parking outside his house in a marked car with lights/sirens flashing, going ‘OPEN UP RIGHT AWAY!!! THIS IS THE POLICE!!!!’ (with all the neighbours watching).

Fergo’s all over the papers the next day with nuance being thrown all over the place suggesting Fergo’s stuffed up big time, he’s on the rocks with his Mrs and we’re protecting him.

If a convicted criminal falsely reported that Cam Smith was beating up his wife, I doubt the cops would go over to his house right away and make a scene (and there’d definitely be no heavily nuanced BS about him in the papers the next day calling for his sacking). Insert any black player and I dunno...

You actually believe this? It wouldn't matter if Ferguson was black, white or brindle, or whatever colour Carter was, if the police are told that a 1 year old may have injested of course drugs they are going to get on the scene immediately. You'll be telling us next that the police ask for the skin colour of those involved when they initially take the call, so they know whether or not to take action.
