  • Keary in tomorrow's heat

not sure we are going to see Keary at his explosive best after being sick all week and combined with the forecast heat tomorrow.

listening to Robbo's press conference today he mentioned the captains run was Keary's only session this week and he was moving "good enough".

not a great preparation to be sick all week and then play in 30 degree heat.

Is it gonna be 30 degrees at 8pm?

Maybe Robbo is playing a few mind games of his own.

what was wrong with him - stomach bug I heard - he should be okay though - they are predicting 26 degrees by kick-off and not much of change throughout the game -plenty of fluids in that case - players that is

Salvo, I think they have Hydrolytes which replace most deficiency these days and I am sure our medical staff will be all over it.

The guy had food poisoning 5 days ago. The adrenaline plus our medical staff will see him at 100%. As a great fan once said, "No excuses!"

As for the heat, they are finely tuned athletes playing for a grand final spot. They all have to play in these conditions so heat and weather is irrelevant. It's not going to be 40 degrees.

I find all this talk about the 'heat' amusing. A bigger concern would be if it was going to be a bog, that would being the teams closer together. Perfect conditions predicited and I think we will be on

Luke will be fine. What's the worst that can happen - he has a chunder? Alfie Langer did that before every game and he went okay.

The weather will be coolish and nice by 7.40pm.
Not raining, no cold gale blowing.
                      All good.
                      Keary will be fine.

Mate your taking it to far. Hows Keary gonna be in the heat? Come on.
There is no excuses for Chooks tomorrow night.
The Roosters are the superior team & no refs, bunker the heat the cold or what ever can be used as an excuse.
If they lose it's their own fault but their going to win.

Both Keary and Toups are not going to be 100% and the heat will affect our forwards more than the cowboys but does it really matter who plays the storm?
