Fewest penalties received with warriors, tigers and eels.

For my curiosity, anyone know the counts when we played these teams this year? Did eels, Tigers and nz both become disciplined or is my theory blown away?

Also I notice reading from least favoured upwards, of the bottom 4, both teams feeling duded last weekend were 3rd and 4th leaving us and eels. Hope this trend has been arrested following the press conferences

Nah see what we do is intentionally give penalties away from within 30m of the try line because that helps out with our defence. That's why we always win and teams struggle to score against us, even after 6 repeat sets on our line.

Jeeez mate, didn't you read Vossy's article? You're living in the dark ages mate!

      > If we're going to whinge about one thing, how about this?

      > And it has nothing to do with the referees. And the blame must be directed straight at the coaches.

      >Teams consistently giving away penalties on their own line is a tactic that has become such a blight on our game. Todd Greenberg has conceded the league will look at what can be done to put a halt to this situation in the off-season.

We are to blame entirely for the penalty counts. What we do is intentionally give away penalties so that our defenders can come back and get setup. Next season the NRL's gonna fix this by having a sin bin after 3 penalties and allowing a quick tap for all penalties. This will mean that the refs can't just slam us with penalties, they can send all our players off and give the remaining players inadequate time to get back after their calls (leading to further penalties and send-offs) if this doesn't give them the result they want.

      LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!!!!

if its such a good tactic then why aren't other teams giving away lots of penalties?

and i suppose consistently receiving the least penalties is also a tactic we employ to win matches?

To be fair the Storm do it (e.g. by wrestling, stripping and pulling down people as they play the ball). However, they don't get caught.

like any good criminals, the secret is to not get caught :P

I think you have evidence of CCTV footage of Phil Rothfield?

I'm willing to bet my 2003 'Back to Back ' T shirt

Most of our penalties conceded are not on our try line or up to 20m out.

Has there been another occasion in 2017 where a team has received only 2 penalties?

From memory one of those was for an accidental offside??

Of course we were one of those teams.
