Yeah it's still too early to make a call on how good Cleary can be.

He's certainly doing a great job as a teenage halfback. Very composed and he does all the basics well.

The big test will be to see if he can develop his ball playing because he's only got 9 try assists and 11 line break assists through 24 games.

So the JT comparisons are wayyyyy over the top. Maybe he will get there but atm he strikes me as more of a Cronk clone.

Very metronomic but without the flashes of brilliance. Still, he's only 19.

I found the calls of him being the best teenager ever hilarious. SBW was almost the best forward in the game within a year of debuting.

He was an "unconscious genius" McCartney. A bit like Freddy back in the nineties! Different drug but same effect. I remember reading a story about Freddy years ago - he was having that many blackouts whilst out on the town he took to going out with a cam recorder around his neck and filmed the night just so he knew where he went and what he got up to the next day!
