Parra to choke big time

so everyone is saying that we will play Parra next week. I think they have overachieved this year and nowhere near as good as their fans may like to believe. Cowboys are average but I think they will beat a choking Parra side that will get very wild and desperate in the second half. Of course we should then beat Cowboys to secure our GF place.

Yep I agree, they were very surprisingly good against the Rain. A really big and mobile forward pack, plenty of punch on the bench, and I think poor discipline and poor refereeing "Cummins" cost them in the end.

I'm hoping they played their GF, and choke big-time against the Cows, under the weight of expectation. But it's hard to argue against the quality of the inside pass thrown by Moses in that nice set play, be it against 12 men. The sin-binning of Munster was a huge momentum shifter in the game.

Redradra went missing also, as The Rain shut him down well.

I don't think so Vasco. I th No we have been solid and ended the season exactly where we deserved. The only thoughts of overachievement come from the results of last year. Last year was unlucky but finishing 4 of 5 seasons at either first or second makes me think we haven't overachieved this year except been very consistent in our place as a dominating force in the NRL.

If we were in Parra's position now we might have a good choke too. Parra will be shitting themselves. I'm calling the choke way early. I reckon they are even shitting themselves at training as we speak.

I thought the Sharks choked. They should have closed the game out against the Cowboys, having the better game managers in the halves.

Again, I think Parra have the better halves over the Cowboys. Apart from this both teams are similar. The game could go either way, but I'm tipping Parra by a try.

Neither Parra or the Cowboys have the quality that we do. I really want to see a hard, grinding game, hopefully it goes into extra time just to wear them out before they face a fresh Roosters team!

Agree. Parra should win and so should have Cronulla. Still funny things happen. We might get a Bradbury premiership. That's okay with me

The cows side are no slouches, as long as they bash each other who cares. I've yet to see Moses be really tested in defence over the 80 either, so Paul Green will be onto that no doubt.
