  • 9 News -pretty funny.

Apparently according to 9News last night we are playing the winner of Panthers vs Broncos.

Perhaps Nein now have the ability to change the NRL draw on the fly?

    Poor journalism, lack of professionalism

They actually have it correct. The two winners from next week will cross over to the other side of the draw.

We won't be playing Brisbane again unless it's in the GF. Just like when we played Manly in week 1 of the semis in 2013 and again in the GF.

Hence the reason they'll cross over to the Storm side of the draw.

The Rock is correct, as is the graphic. It's just that it is missing the crossed lines that move each winner to the other side of the draw immediately before the Prelims.

The NRL ladder predictor clearly shows us playing the winner of Parra vs Cowgirls. Go try it. Nein were reporting that we played the winners of Broncs v Panthers.

I understand that, and it is correct that we play the winner of Parra vs Cowboys. The image below is the finals structure as it is always displayed graphically. It is the essentially same as the one above, but the one used by Nine was missing all the lines, including the lines that cross the teams over to the other side of the draw before the Prelims. They may have said it wrong, I didn't hear it, but the graphic is actually correct (minus the lines indicating the path of each winner).

                    Or try this .... https://www.nrl.com/portals/nrl/RadE...alsSeries2.jpg
