  • Seriously, how good is Latrell!

    thats not a question it's a statement!

i know this guy gets talked up a lot but tonight showed he is the true superstar of the NRLs future. Every time he touched the ball tonight he looked like he could make something happen and it usually did!

Cant wait to see what he does in two weeks.

Palmed off hair puller, jumped a tackle then sprinted to the line. THANK YOU SIR!!!!!

Not even the corrupt refs could deny that one. That's how good you gotta be to win a GF these days!

i actually thought the reffing tonight wasn't as bad as expected. Hats off to the game managers.

Imo Latrell should have been given the benefit of the doubt after the ref called try

I actually agree with that even though by the letter of the law it was the right call. There was doubt but probably more one-eyed doubt. Thank goodness it didn't cost us.

Exactly. How many times have we seen the bunker go with the refs call this season? Should have been the same this time.

Was just going to start a thread about Latrell. He's just incredible.

In times gone by it would have been a benefit of the doubt try.

I actually agree it was no try and would have been filthy if that was the Broncos and was given.

As for Latrell's try it was so Inglis like its scary.

He played with controlled aggression tonight which I love.

My favourite player....he didn't miss a beat tonight.

Thought he regripped for a fair try whereas Oates didn't.

But greater minds thought the reverse...thank God we won.

If Latrell's first try wasn't a try then no way did Oates score his first. Latrell had more control than Oates. And those two decisions meant a twelve point turn around. We should have won by 20. And loved watching Latrell putting Roberts on his butt and making all the right running after that. A great try and well done Keary for ensuring Mitchell got his chance.

I think the Bunker has been consistent with this ruling and Latrell's no-try was correctly called. With Oats it was a 50/50 call and we lost that one. All and all I think the game managers stayed out of the game.
This is whats great about finals, those soft penalties are seldom given.

GO THE CHOOKS, so happy they won
