His in a similar boat but has played a few games in recent years then gets his contract extended on more money then injures himself again.
Cherrington will be 45 and the club will still be waiting for him in the ER.

I couldn't agree with you more Fox but for some reason that I can't fathom many supporters put a lot of faith in Cherrington to finally deliver at some stage. Personally I don't think it will happen and that we've already wasted enough salary cap dollars on this injury plagued bloke who appears all hype and no real substance.
If he cannot play at least half a season in 2012 the Roosters should cut their losses and at best encourage the Jets to put him on their books, that way they can have the liability and not us.

we should keep him. he couldnt be on that much - he hasnt played much firsts for a while, is a local junior and owes it to the club considering our lifeline after him misdemeanors. as others have said, we have persisted for so long and from all reports he was in for a massive year. smith apparently rates him extremely highly as well so i cant see why we would cut him.
