Ill do a nut in the minute if the Roosters persist with this guy, How much have we paid him in the last 3 years to sit on the sidelines.
He was the next big thing surely they dont still think this.

I agree with Foxy, how much money have we wasted on Quentin Kenihan Mark II?

      He's a gimp.

We've paid him enough that it's worth more to us now to persist with him than it is to dump him, even if we have to extend him for another year. The club asks him to re-sign for less given his injuries, and if he fires up bonus, if he doesn't we don't waste a lot on him.

          Chook.

spot on chook silly to get rid of him now, im sure the club would think along those lines.

Well we should rename ourselves South Sydney and rename him Scott Geddes.
His in a similar boat but has played a few games in recent years then gets his contract extended on more money then injures himself again.

Cherrington will be 45 and the club will still be waiting for him in the ER.

I couldn't agree with you more Fox but for some reason that I can't fathom many supporters put a lot of faith in Cherrington to finally deliver at some stage. Personally I don't think it will happen and that we've already wasted enough salary cap dollars on this injury plagued bloke who appears all hype and no real substance.

If he cannot play at least half a season in 2012 the Roosters should cut their losses and at best encourage the Jets to put him on their books, that way they can have the liability and not us.

we should keep him. he couldnt be on that much - he hasnt played much firsts for a while, is a local junior and owes it to the club considering our lifeline after him misdemeanors. as others have said, we have persisted for so long and from all reports he was in for a massive year. smith apparently rates him extremely highly as well so i cant see why we would cut him.

What if keeping him cost us one of our current NYC players like Evans, Lowe or Moga?

lol ok 8888. I don't have the talent to play professional sport, nor the desire but hes an Adam MacDougall type I guess is a nice way of putting it.
