I expect Cummins was quite shocked to actually see us make it to the GF.

We were an amazing team in 2013. Overcame a massive negative penalty differential for the season to win the comp. Did it the hard way, which makes it sweeter I suppose.
if you think that was a dodgy penalty try you are kidding we got that better result instead of sin binning aubusson

We can at Allianz RC, 4 out of the last 4 against them at allianz is a great formline for this game. Especially with their injuries thrown into the mix. Defence will win us this game, i expect with four genuine halves on the field at once they will throw a lot at us in attack so our D needs to be on, they will have so many genuine attacking and kicking options so if we can nullify that to a large degree i think for the very same reason (4 halves on the paddock) there will be plenty of missed tackles from them that should lead to field position and points if our edge forwards run good lines like they have been. Our D has been solid this last 5 weeks.

Our attack will also improve dramatically this week with only one forward in the centres instead of two. Just hopefully Toops picks up close where he left off, remember the attack on that side with him and Latrell - it created havoc.

If it was at Suncorp i think it's a different prospect altogether, but it's not.

i understand what you are saying but if he plays and they win. He gets two weeks off to prep for a GF qualifier. If he doesn't play and they lose, they will be forced to run him twice to make the GF.

            Hopefully Boyd does play.....

We beat them without Pearce in Round 13. They didn't have Milford and Oarhengaue but did have McCulloch, Simms and Pangai.

Oh, my mistake - lol. So the refs awarded Manly the penalty try so we would benefit from a non sin-binning. Why do you always bend over backwards to defend the refs rather than your own team?

i think if he plays he definitely does it again and is out for the rest of the finals and hampers their chance of winning that game as well. Hammys are like that. You don't get away with playing in a final with a dodgy hammy not re injuring it (unless your Ricko and i think he had two weeks before that GF didnt he and didnt have to play the week after the GF obviously)

It would just be a really stupid decision by Bennett and he ain't stupid. Unless of course its nowhere near as bad as it looked, i know he walked off but he looked in a good amount of pain at the time it happened and it happened not even at top pace so its obviously very dodgy.

I really think Melb will take some stopping. BUT, IF any of the remaining 7 play out of their skins, then ANYONE can win.

BUT like I said, Melbourne have to be very strong favorites to take this out............

Nikorima - having just been named at fullback - is a gift. Shame on us if we don't exploit and punish no fullback to its absolute fullest. I'm not talking about talent either, but the smarts, the brains. The benefit of the doubt will go to the little men when charging in on a bomb too. Please for the love God Pearce, mix it up son, the requirements needed to win this particular game with that personnel and no defensive organiser, is on a silver platter !!

Apparntly it was something he went into last weeks game with so if Bennet ran him for that game, anything is possible. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing is a fabrication and one big smokescreen as the Broncos were never going to lose that game last weekend and bringing him off was both to limit any further damage and also create some confusion for us this week.

Are the team lists out yet?

Yes just now - no boyd anywhere in the 21 so I think that makes it official doesn't it? I have a feeling the final 17 must come from the 21 named from memory - can anyone confirm that?

Mead named at 14 - still think that mead will play wing kahu will play 1 and Benji will be benched so Niko goes back to 7 Makes more sense less disruption to the spine.

i hope you're right. I'm tired of getting knocked out at finals. GO ROOSTERS. For once I hope Robbo will outsmart Bennet.

Yep you are right. He's not included in the 21. While it's a bonus for our chances, I still would rather we played the Donkeys with him in the side as I don't want to hear any excuses.

I think you are more likely to see Lockyer at fullback than the dwarf Nikorima.
