Poor Discipline................Thoughts

As we've given away a penalty try and sin bin in games v the Storm & Sharks, it got me thinking about poor discipline.

We say the 'team' has poor discipline , etc, but surely a lot of it is coached and there is a very fine line we walk on.

some examples;

Slowing down the play the ball - always a chance for a penalty
Stopping the offload - chances of stripping penalties
Giving away 2 points in our red zone as opposed to risking 6.......
blocking bomb chasers, etc, etc, etc

Surely this stuff is coached............

So what I'm asking is (aside from brain explosions), could we say that poor discipline is coached and just poorly executed. Also, tempting the referee to hammer us.

I'm interested in what you guys think, because we all say that the 'team' has poor discipline and must improve...........

As we have received the fewest penalties of any team, I can only assume that coaches abandon these tactics when they play us and become models of good discipline. I mean, what other explanation could there be?
