Ricky Stuart will always be a roosters hero (1 premiership, 3 very good seasons, 2 bad seasons) but this year Robbo (1 premiership, 4 very good seasons, 1 bad season) has surpassed Ricky's record.

      Ricky had Freddy.

Apart from Sonny in 2013 Robbo has had nothing close to him.

Ricky has made the finals twice out his last eleven seasons.

      He couldn't clean Robbo's boots.

Robbo had nothing close to Freddy but a better team in general. That 2013 Roosters side was magic in action.

Robbo a under the radar game changer - he has built a squad post SBW Jennings RTS by having versatility rather than complete specialist positions . On observation over the past 2 seasons sees blending youth (grown up within the club)!with our experienced players as well as adding to the experience factor via the great signing of Gordon
Considering the salary cap and movement of players I think Robbo and management have the task that's tricky in enabling that youth and experience strategy to continue yet the youth do become the experienced players one day so I am confident in that strategy. Results are there to see.
The behind the scenes at Easts is very positive one only has to look at what they are doing with junior programs which includes girls. Our CEO I think is on the pulse too. I listened to his recent interview on Roosters radio and he was most impressive. The stay put of Taylor and Fitzy indicative of Robbo and the strong club.

I would say that Ricky's 02/04 sides had more rep players. Those sides were chockablock full of stars.
