  • Did Heighington not get charged?

If not then the NRL just gets worse. He flipped Cordner and then went on with driving him to the ground.

someone please tell me he is facing a three week ban and i've missed it

Not that much in it really.
Putting a player in a dangerous position is a new thing, but a lot are penalty sufficient.

        That's right.
You're not here, so you must be there.

You can put someone in the horizontal but most players realise and ease them down, Heighinton didn't. He kept going until Cordner hit the ground with his head and turned in. I don't believe it was with any bad intentions, but it was careless and it should have been given some sort of suspension.

                Yeah, it was careless.
I just thought it deserved a penalty.
I'd be really pissed off if JWH had done the same thing and copped a week.

Mind you, had JWH dunnit, he would be facing a month.

It was like that tackle by the broncos player a few weeks ago but the motion was fast and the 'victim' landed on his head. The broncos player got a few weeks. Of course, JWH would have gotten 2-4 weeks.
