  • Boyd Cordner

This moment popped into my mind as soon as he won that penalty last night. Take note of the minute.

He's something else. Was embarrassing listening to some people on here question his commitment when he was out injured.

Keep on proving 'em wrong Boydy!

Cordner seems to be able to focus and motivate himself at all times. I hope his body stays strong for a long time. Really great team player.

Maybe should be captain on his own? Friend has plenty to do already with his weird kicking game

I think he's someone who's always going to struggle with injuries, it's just a bi-product of the way he plays the game.

I'd be surprised if he's ever at 100% fitness.

              Boyd Cordner is inspirational.
He's been a great player for a number of years, but I think being leader has really brought out his true colours.

He's no Josh Papalii but he'll do.

A true inspiration and on course to be perhaps our greatest backrower of the modern era.

I mean he's not on SBWs level but factoring in longevity he's right up there.

Hopefully Origin doesn't shave 2 or 3 years or 50+ games off of his career.

How do you think Frizell rates against Papalli. Then you've got big JT. Also, we've got to take into account Boyd's an 80min player maintaining amazing intensity. These are all different styles of players with different strengths and weaknesses. And SBW, well, he's arguably the best ever.

In the end, he won us that game last night. It was a team effort for 80 mins but Boyd came up with the winning play. He stood up when he had to and the rest is history.

Some players have the ability to step up when it matters most, he is certainly one of them

Rubbish! Jake is an inspirational leader in his own right, seems like everyone takes him for granted.Cameron Smith rates him.

I think I'd take Frizell over Papali. Frizell seems to involve himself more imo.

I'd take SST over both of them.

Since when's Josh Papalii been the benchmark? Cords is a much more complete footy player than fatso.

I think Tommy Smith was being a tad sarcastic, I think it is in reference to R_6 rating him ahead of Cordner a few years back.
