I would rather we don't see him until week one of the finals. A rested, fit Toups in the finals will be huge bonus for the Roosters. No point in risking him until it matters.

He's so important because of our shocking lack of backline depth.

Where as other clubs replace their injured winger with another winger we have to reorganise half of our team to cover Toops loss!

Crazy really and it makes the added depth next year so crucial. Not that we're stacked but adding Teddy frees up Gordon as cover.

After last year, I thought I would never say this.
We CAN'T win the comp without him, due to our seemlngly lack of depth in the backline.
I don't see any Roos or other junior Roosters games so I'm not sure but aren't then any

Yeah, starting tomorrow night.

I cried a few last week when Teddy rounded Matto for the try that put them in front.

Imagine if we had lost last week due to Teddy leaving Matto stranded and a forward pass on the end of it.

Could easily have happened............................

Spot on mate, poor Matto.
Honestly felt sorry for him because he shouldn't have been in that position to go one on one
with our incoming champion fullback. He got nowhere near him!

Teddy has run rings around a lot better centres than Matto thats for sure.

Our feeder team is leading their comp by a stretch so I wouldn't say are backline depth is bad compared to other clubs at all.

It's just that our coach is ultra conservative and risk averse.

It's not great but it's still better than 2016 as signing Teddy hasn't cost us any outside backs unless you want to include SKD.
