  • Now we can't come first......

I Think our best option is to finish 4th, We may have to play The Storm away, but it will be a non elimination final, we have shown we can compete with them but I would much prefer to play them first up knowing a win would be terrific but a loss will still get us a home final against Parramatta or the team that comes 8th.

very very winnable game then the broncos who I hope do the job on our Bogey team the Sharks

4th is my preferred option, so as much as I like to win every week, I can accept a hard fought loss this weekend

I may be over 2000 years old and versed in most languages, that makes little sense so dribble is not one of them lol

You don't want to lose week one. I want to come second or third and play Broncos. Then we would not have to meet the Storm until the big one if we win. If we lose then we meet them in the GF qualifier.

BTW my prediction is we go out in the GF qualifier. That's a lot better than most predicted at the start of the season. Including me.

All depends on toops injury imo with latrell back at center its a lethal combo on the left edge.

Why would you want to come 4th instead of 2nd and potentially play three games in Sydney rather than possibly games in Brisbane and Melbourne?

Seems a little negative but its a good point. Melboure at melbourne is a big hurdle rather then a week 1 home semi

Our best option is to finish second. And it's realistic - if we beat Cronulla, and the Broncos lose one of their last two games against the Eels and the Cows.

Yes, finishing fourth means we wouldn't have to play Melbourne in the GF qualifier, but nor would we if we finish second, or finish third and beat the Broncos.
If we finish fourth, and lose down there, and if we survive the next round we'd probably have to go up to Brisbane and win there anyway. Might as well beat them the first week.

I would rather play Mel in a non elimination final than a one off loser out, I do not fear the Broncos

How about we aim to finish as high as we can (2nd) and then win each game we play in the final series.

                        Now that's a novel idea isn't it.

Well we should, however we cannot finish 2nd if the Bronco's win their last 2 games. Something which is out of our control.

You have got to beat them all to get to the big one so for me it doesnt matter who we play but yeah if you want a favourable start then we want a home semi. Oh and a ref that likes us would help!
