  • Jake and JT

Trying to remember when Jake was at his all-round best, like the year we won the comp.
He since credited a lot of his attacking game to Taylor working with him.

JT is not sold on Farah type dummy halves that do their own thing while the team plays catch up, and I don't think Jake always over plays his hand. The critics are probably right on that regarding the tigers game and one or two others.
On occasion Jake can come up with game changing plays. Tries from his short kicking game, or the 40/20 from dummy half as examples.
The key is when to choose those plays to keep the oppostion guessing.

Again, I think he'd be better off without the captaincy.
He's still a long way from sitting on the scoreboard.

I thought he was great against Souffs. Was really hitting 2013 form and won us that match.

    Then he broke his hand.

Only 2 games back so I'm confident he'll rediscover peak form for the finals.

Agreed, he just needs to get back to playing his role and stop becoming the playmaker
