Has anyone thought that it's they way that we defend that often results in the soft penalty.
THE ROOSTERS NEED TO SERIOUSLY MUSCLE THE PHUCK UP IN DEFENCE.
until this happens, everything else is irrelevant

Although the ruck was very badly refereed tonight, i've come to expect it from referees. Different week, different rules.
What really steamed me was with all the talk in pre-season about policing the mark, they have absolutely forgotten about it.
I don't know if anyone noticed, but when they scored of the grubber - the player playing the ball (Woods ?) was facing the corner post. It was so blatant that even he nearly gave himself up. Pearce notied it and was screaming at the ref. How can you get that wrong ? This isnt NSW cup for god's sake.
Later in the game, Lote must of hopped 5 extra metres and played the ball. Again, the fact that it wasn't penalised despite being so obvious just gives me the shits.Last edited by BigMike; 07-24-2011, 02:37 AM.

I recorded it and started watching about 10pm last night.
After the second try the Tigers scored I had had enough, turned off the TV and went to bed.
Sure I was upset with some ordinary defense, but I was really really pissed off with some extremely inconsistent refereeing.
I don't mind the tigers, but I was really pissed off with their filth last night, I have never seen a tigers side so dirty.
The referees blew several penalties based on the crowd booing rather than what was happening in front of them. As JT said the Roosters could not buy a penalty.
BTW there is no penalty for taking a few steps in the play the ball, BUT you should not GET a penalty when you walk a few steps and take out the marker.
The refereeing is an absolute disgrace and not just in our game.
It makes me laught when they talk about want $1.4 billion for this shit of a productThe Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

"Marriage" or something..."two people in the deal not only one".
Well Optus-Foxtel in fact...Optus being on our side in the Superleague war.
Loved it when Rupert was in the hot seat squirming the other day, apologising profusely, then the 'cream' pie attack.
News Ltd, in reality, is so big and powerful that it's impossible for it to suffer much.

Exactly.
At least the Tigers and the NRL didn't get any of my money at the turnstiles.

As a player Jack Gibson was a fearfully tough prop whose limited skills were more than compensated by his willingness in the tough stuff. He also enjoyed the underground gambling houses with their baccarat and two-up games that were protected by bribed police.
It was also Jack who brought the distressing news to the 1963 Wests dressing room just before the grand final kickoff against St George that the game was rigged.
Gibson told Wests that the referee Darcy Lawler had bet 600 pounds on St George. Saints won the highly controversial match 8-3.
