      Sounds like a good plan.
Now back to the thread topic, seriously why do so many supporters think every time we lose it is always Pearce's fault? Yet the same people have nothing to say about him when we win? Do we remember how bad we were when he was suspended for the first two months of last year?

I don't rank him in the same league as Cronk and Cherry Evans.

From what i have been reading, Pearce supporters are happy to praise him and let people know he has done well so he is the main man when we win, yet it seems these same supporters cannot handle him being criticised when he plays poorly, you can not have it both ways, sometimes you have to take the good with the bad.

One of my personal favourites was from a prominent poster on this thread. I remember him once explaining that Pearce's organizational ability was such an important factor in the forwards playing well. However often when losing and Pearce would cop a hammering, he would simply explain that Pearce was unable to play well because the forwards didn't do their job. This guy is obviously in marketing or politics.

Choc Mundine is better than Cronk, Cherry Evans,Thurston & Freddy so beat that.

He's got the highest average score outta all the NRL fantasy halves this season. Not a sure indication that he's the best half, but it demonstrates he's got the numbers to backup his form.

Rightly or wrongly that's how I always got picked for rep teams. NSW coach at the time got all the coaches to keep stats on players. On paper I was better than people thought because I gained a lot of metres and was in just about every tackle (also I rarely missed a tackle, and rarely spilled the ball). I was no bulldozer (so got ignored a bit in favour of big islanders who smashed people) but the stats never lie. If you are doing well on paper, there's always something in it.

Yeah hes making a comeback. We should get in early and sign him on a 3 year deal . But hes running on old skinny legs

Just as well we got up y'day, otherwise Jnr Pearce's two defensive lapses which resulted in tries would have cost us victory.

He was very ordinary against the Tigers IMO.

Sorry Gman I can't agree. He wasn't great for sure but he did set up one try and score another. I don't believe he was solely responsible for us almost losing the game.

As people know I'm not the greatest sopporter of PEARCE but not an open bagger.

I thought tigers held us down in the ruck causing causing us to have slow ptb. Everything sped us once watson came on.

                          3 bombed tries didn't help

                            Good call Gman,totally agreed..
Although Pearce wasn't the sole reason we nearly lost the game, his performance all round was very ordinary..

Fair call, you're entitled to your opinion MR. With the finals around the corner Jnr needs to take it up a notch or two and maintain it.

I do agree with you there. He's certainly been down on form since Origin.
