He would have been good at the right price and yes we are definitely one genuine front rower short, something that needs to be addressed before next season

ABSOLUTELY - i've been shitting on about this all year and it's our major weakness.

Go forward and ruck dominance is appalling when Napa and JWH are not on the field. Evans, Tetivano and Liu are not cutting it in this regard.

And given how we've been sailing close to the wind with the cap, it'll probably be someone affordable who is good for a no-nonsense meter eating role.

Lawrence would have been my pick, but appears to be titan-bound.

Others worth looking at IMO for the right price include Gurgess, Tagatese, Passi, Grant, Lillyman

I need money, and would be willing to play prop.

Nick should sign me to play against Melbourne. Even if I only last 5 minutes, at least I could rid the comp of cameron smith.

Lawrence misses every 2nd game with injury, so not worth whining about missing out on him. Let the Titans pay for him to sit in the sidelines for half a season - he can keep Hayne company.

Yeah so bloody true. But from where & how much? I really think it's pretty obvious that this will be our undoing this year 100%.(we should have targeted someone prior to June 30 - prob salary cap issues may have stopped us).

Also, "Knock on Wood" but an injury to one of our big 2 would destroy us. But this aint gonna happen. We've had three tough years with a shyte load of injuries, poodles, bad luck, bad officiating, etc. Our injuries have come early - just before the finals. We will PEAK at the right time of the year. The rest is up to the 17 players each week..........
