  • Victor Radley

I realise that there is already a thread regarding Victor but I really wanted to start one off on this occasion.

If there's one other thing that I'm as passionate about as the Roosters, it's Bronte. I grew up there, I've been President of Bronte Boardriders for over 20 years, and I just care about the area and the local community. Last night was the first time in my lifetime (born '78) that I've got to see a true blue Bronte local, and Bronte Boardrider, play for the Rooster's! When your two passions collide like that it's pretty special!

He's a great kid Victor, all the coaches rave about his attitude, and all he's ever wanted was to play for the Rooster's.

I look forward to watching Victor continue to make the Roosters and Bronte proud.

    That's all

Glad you spoke about his attitude because I was worried he might have a chip on his shoulder given he is close friends with Hastings.

        A fine debut,

A big ask to cover great 'Friend'

A bigger ask to play those minutes & if anything seemed to gain confidence once he adjusted to the pace

What impressed me is he looks to have the right mentality .... born & bred

I love his story as well. I was raised at Clovelly, played for the Crocs for about 6 years and was Captain of Clovelly Public, Radley's school as well. My old man grew up at Bronte living there for about 35 years. I unfortunately moved away from the area when i was young but I love hearing of genuine juniors coming through the ranks and for some weird reason makes me proud even though I'm long removed from the area. Hope he has a great career and last night was a solid start

I am sure you don't mind being corrected with this one, but it was 14 seasons at the Crocs. Started the year he turned 4 until he was 17.

Despite being from rival beach Bondi , I'm very proud to have a local junior represent us. You and your friends did a great job supporting Victor last night. Well done.

Bronte Rooster what is Adrian Lam's connection to Radlay? He was sitting behind me last night in your regular seat and he was cheering very enthusiastically for Radley.

Radley has a good size about him as well. He certainly handled the physicality of fg with ease.
