I backed qld to win
albeit 1-12
what a goose I am. My rationale was the Laurie has the most appalling coaching record.
'I've never liked Woods at origin level. He is too soft. He just isn't aggressive enough.
Maloney has never played well at origin
Josh Jackson was ineffective.
Boyd was ok. People should drop off hassling him
mitch was ok too. He is a scapegoat
it was lost up front and in the preparation which is the fault of the coachbarbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!

Won and lost in the forwards and in defence - NSW Forwards were ordinary second half of game 2 and all of game 3- Hardly bent back the QLD defence for a game and half meaning NSW had to kick from within their half most times giving easy possession back to QLD - QLD easily won the ruck and ground battle- second half game 2 and all of game 3- QLD also exploited defensive weaknesses in NSW - Dugan/Hayne/Fergo not really noted for their defence and with NSW being well controlled in the forwards- it meant that their contribution was virtually zilch for a game and 1/2 in their main forte -attack- Very much one out stuff from NSW was easy pickings for QLD too as NSW really struggled to make ground in their sets of 6 compared to QLD.
Don't know what plan NSW have for 2018 - they need to do a major review though sooner than later as well it's getting beyond embarrassing now- Time for Gus to be asked back - Consultant role of some sort at least I suggest
