Not the best, not the worst, should be back on deck for the finals.

The Roosters were home at Allianz Stadium in Round 18 for a physical clash with the Rabbitohs which saw plenty of bruised bodies after 80 minutes of football.
In the final ten minutes of play, Michael Gordon was forced from the field after sustaining a pectoral muscle injury.
Gordon received scans over the weekend to determine the severity of the injury, and the Club has elected to undergo an extensive rehabilitational program to ensure a full recovery.
It is expected that he will miss up to eight weeks of NRL action.
The rest of the squad escaped without any injury concerns and will be available for selection for the Roosters Round 20 clash against the Newcastle Knights.

Will probably be closer to six weeks after they hit him with hyperbaric chamber and PRP injections
Hope so

Personally I don't think he is a fullback. I think he is better suited to the halves.
He will struggle under the high-ball as was the case in the final stages of the Rabbitohs game.
It's funny how we all see things differently. I think Watson looks to be a very average half. Looks to have a poor pass and no kicking game. Looks good running the ball and has a heap of energy, i think fb is his spot. The high ball he struggled with was one of the best bombs you will see that came down in a heap of traffic, I'm not going to judge him on that
we'll definitely struggle to replace him at fullback, especially in defence. Gordon saved a tonne of tries this year making last ditch tackles that I would not expect Watson, Mitchell, or Fergo to make.
bigger issue though is goal kicking. We have no one to handle this for at least a month you'd think as SST will not be able to kick effectively coming back from a hamstring injury
Big shoes to fill. I am not yet sold on Watson as a genuine 80 minute first-grader but I hope I am wrong and he has the opportunity to write himself a bigdollar contract somewhere else next year in the next 6 weeks.
Out of left field, how about Dan Toupo for fullback. No passing game like Watson or Ferguson but he is our strongest carrying back on a regular basis and is good under the high ball?
