  • Crichey I hope this is one of our ex-players

    SHHHHH I

Which promising forward, earmarked as a future NSW Origin rep, is unhappy at his current club?

He’s been telling his former teammates he wants to return to his previous club.

This bloke is an absolute gun.

We’re hearing his old club is keen on the idea of bringing him back too. Watch this space.

He played a few games of SG Ball with us and was a mad Roosters supporter (just like Teddy).

Was he classed as our junior?

Haha I read that too and the only player that fits that I can think of is Crichton.

He's got a few mates at the Roosters too apparently from his SG Ball days.

Personally I can't see it happening but we can dream!

A Cordner-Crichton pairing would be the stuff of legend.

My vile Souffs mate reckons it's Butcher who wants to go back to Souffs

              But just wishful thinking.

I was thinking whether it was Butcher as well but can he be qualified as an "absolute gun" yet?

The hype around Crichton sounds more like the player. I can't really think of any other forward with such hype about him.

All speculation of course. He is locked up until next year and has said he wants to extend. But could you imagine the meltdown from Souths supporters if we get him back.

Can't be Butcher. He hasn't done anything in FG to rate him as a future NSW rep. Chrichton has though.

                        Tapine is a Kiwi.

And Brown has never been earmarked as a future rep. He's kind of come out of nowhere to be one of the best middle third forwards in the game.

Can't see Tapine wanting to go back to the Knights

It sounds like Butcher to me TS for the following reasons:

                            - He isn't seeing much of first grade and might think he's ready right now
                            - He sees Crichton playing 80 every week and thinks he should also be
                            - Perhaps he feels he'd get a better go at the wabbits
                            - Crichton is playing well and looks happy at the wabbits - no reason to pine for Easts

I am of course completely speculating and have no idea. Interesting rumour though.
