I'm a little surprised, I thought Cornish might get a start, with Watson used as utility. I don't think Cornish has the versatility of Watson, but I guess Cornish can still be used exclusively in the halves off the bench and Watson moved to wherever else as need arises.

A centre who can tackle. What a bonus.

Will it be a bonus when he gets burnt for speed? I love Maubs but for me centre is not his strongest position.

I think that is such a weak looking pack. What has happened to our depth in the middle. Maybe we have gone too hard at backrowers, but the pack does not instil me with any confidence.
          Guerra. Such a liability.

What happened to our depth in the middle is that Moa ran out of gas and was shipped overseas, Evans has turned into a complete powderpuff the past 18 months, and Liu is having his worst season in 1st grade.

Three middle men that were going great in 2015 that only two years later are either no longer here or not providing half the impact.

The only positive has been Tetevano. But that still leaves us a long way short of where we were in 2015 where our pack was dominating at a level I've rarely seen.

I see it as a chance for the younger guys to step up I wpuld expect to see Cornish drop off the bench to be replacrd by another young forward

I know we are struggling in the front row department but seeing Evans in the 17 disturbs me.

In all the games he has played at centre I'd love to see how much evidence there is that he has been burnt for speed. He is a excellent defensive centre who runs good lines. I'd still rather him there than any other position

That pack doesn't instill me with any confidence. Burgarse and Crichton will have a field day unfortunately.

Got to think positive, the vermin scum can't play that well two weeks in a row...

IMO that's a solid pack compared with Souffs (on paper). Be good if we'd kept Matagi and signed another really powerful guy (Matto and Liu don't really fit that description). I noticed watch stealer signed with Parra or something too? He woulda been gold if he didn't like... steal watches and shyte.

Guerra remains a mystery to me!!! They picked him for Australia when he was our backup centre/back rower. He's never been that good, just... GANGLY! He sorta walks up to the opposition all awkward like. In 2013 he awkwardly slipped past players, but not anymore...

That pack is a worry. Our backs can win this but the forwards must hold thier own with the souths boys and unfortunately i don't think they will.Hope i am wrong.

Big chance for Keary to teach phone chucker a lesson.
