  • Fergo's Blues Press Conference

You can watch Fergo on nrl.com.au

Made me proud that he's a rooster. Nothing too flash - but thoughtful, respectful, honest, knowledgeable and nice. At ease with himself.

He isn't the player he once was but I have been very impressed with him since they moved him back to the Wing. He takes on a big workload carrying the ball and has been excellent with his finishing.

I don't understand why he can't be the devastating centre we saw in the 2015 Prelim anymore.

      He's only what, 27?

Oh well Manu is doing a fine job at centre and Fergo is going well on the wing. Still unless it's an animal like Rapana or Mansour I wouldn't pay a winger more than 400k so I hope his new deal won't be too expensive. If he re-signs that is.

I was thinking about him last night. Very happy for him to stay on winger money. He would be one of the best in the game at bringing the ball back. We just sacked the best.

Has to be winger money and that's where he stays

I want to know why he can't be like his 2013 Canberra form he was a monster for them.

It's pretty clear to me that injuries have got the best of him. Too many ankle problems have robbed him of his ability to use his footwork in tight spaces.

I reckon Fergo could be top 10 best players in the NRL. I just think he chooses not to be.

the ankle injury and training for fullback has taken a lot from him

He still represents his state and country. You have to.pretty good to do that. Some of you make it sound like he's an old hack past his used bu date.

According to a lot of the experts here on this forum.

Napa is a slow useless log and Fergo is an old hack well past his used by date but both are playing in the Origin game next week.

The chookpen experts crack me up with that kind of stuff. They expect to see Fergo score 4 tries and Napa put 8 bell ringers on Sam Burgess every week. They don't realise it's not that simple.

Educated people have the ability to think for themselves and don't necessarily agree with the 'experts'. To quote someone else on here: "Just saying."
