    Can the Roosters please get rid of FPN next, so we can go after some talent for 2013.
    Im sure there will be better quality players off contract after next year, has anyone seen much of Jack Bosden? ive only heard hype so far.
    Mose we def need to keep, he ran over the Panthers and gave us go forward and lifted the crowd and team.
    Please tell me Cherrington is on his last injury life line, he has been our best Trial player for 3 years now.

        Where do you get the stuff you've been smoking? He made two decent runs, was lazy and caught out numerous times in defence. He need to be able to give us 40m quality minutes not 5m.

        To be honest I haven't seen much that he has done to warrant a FG spot

          Well i must of had some of that Funky Chicken uve been munching, Well seeing as though ur in Townsville im guessing u werent at the game and im pretty sure he ran harder then Nate the power walker Myles.
          Maybe Brian Smith should of left him on for 40 dont think Mose gets a say in that.

            Mose would have a coronary if he stayed on for forty, let alone the holes he would leave in the defensive line as he lumbered around.
            Yes, his 3 or 4 hitups are usually quite effective, then he runs out of puff and is a liability.
            I love Mose, but he needs a stack of work on his fitness if he's to go anywhere.

                Moga may get a shot at first grade mid season if his form in the 20s continues. But I can't see him getting a centre spot early 2012 unless both Linnett and J Carney move on. Left wing is a major problem, surely BJ can't waste another season there. I would have Kheirallah there for next season but he and Perrett would make for the two shortest wingers in the comp. Would be nice if this Adam Henry from the Warriors was a gun cos he may be the answer.

                    Meh JWH doesn't offer size though... just height. IMO this is a disadvantahe because he's sorta like a 200cm, 115kg guy up against 185 cm, 115kg guys. Technically he's heavy, but he has a high centre of gravity and nowhere near the muscular physique of the guys he's up against.

                    Radical thinking I know, but I see him more as a centre who doesn't quite have the speed/footwork/ball skills but has a bit of weight due to his height so gets away with being a forward. He reminds me mostly of Willie Wanka (and his stats kinda backup that impression.)

                      Or put it this way (because he's still more of a Union player...) JWH is a flanker (that's what he played and what I see his body as being best suited for.)

                      Unfortunately League is a 13 man game, so he needs to either bulk up and become a real back rower (FFS Sam Thaiday is 181cm and weighs the same as JWH. JWH Needs to be 125kg+ to be a back rower.) That or he needs to get quick, develop an offload and learn how to step.

                      I know it's hard to sell this opinion, but IMO he's still a flanker who is learning the game.

                        There is nothing wrong with JWH's weight. He is has the perfect weight for his height and age. I also doubt very much he is 200cm based on seeing him in person.

                        He will grow and so will his body. He is already a pretty big human.

                        How heavy is Petro ?

                        I do agree with you that he is destined for the backrow.

                          I think you are pretty close to the money here. After last nights game I would add the following:

                          _ We need a new fullback. Nobody in our squad is up to it. Graham, whilst offering more than Mini... brings nothing to the table on kick returns;
                          _ I agree and would be keen to persevere with Linnet at centre. He is bigger than last year, and after this year will have a good number of first grade games under his belt. If he isn't in the centres, I would have him on the wing;
                          _ Mitchell certainly offers something off the bench, but if we have a working back row that tackles to take some off Friend he can play 80 minutes at Hooker. I find he is darting alot more from dummy half. Don't think we have a team that can carry two hookers at the moment;
                          _ Aubusson needs to add a bit more bulk in the off season. He can tackle his heart out, has good hands, and can run good angles. If he had a head like Gallen he would get a little more respect.
                          _ As for the bench. I like the look of Guerra... he breaks the line and is hard to bring down. I think he needs to be there somewhere.

                            Sounds good! With a bit more game time at fullback Graham is looking like our best option and possibly a revalation !!
