Coaches box

Watching the game on the tele today I was left feeling very confident after the cameras focussed briefly on our coaching box.

Sitting in a row of three was Fitzy, Robbo and JT. What an impressive trio to be guiding the side. All three of them bring something special and unique to the table and I believe it's deffinately going to take us in a very positive direction. Fitzy's a gimme but I hope we can keep JT for at least 3-4 seasons to get the most out of him and allow him to have a long term influence.

Man, I was thinking exactly the same thing when I saw that shot.

I reckon JT will be around as long as Robbo wants him. Can't see him being offered another head coach role.

Plenty wrote Robbo off after last year but he did what he could with the cattle he had. gotta keep the faith.

all the talk about paul green being the real mastermind and he's better than robbo has died off funny that because they said robbo didn't win enough with a talented team but what's green done lately now they say jason taylor was the real mastermind dear oh deary me

Plenty of talk about out Robbos use of the interchange almost costing us the win last week.

Robbo is the 2nd best coach we've ever had.................and he's the perfect fit for our club.
The inter-change rule would do anyones head in.
I'd scrap it.

something i can agree with you on there is a of course a warranted discussion about tactics between fans but when people start saying robinson cant coach at all its just embarrassing to read the guy is one of the most respected men within rugby league as a whole i would take what he says and does over anything anybody on the chookpen says when it comes to rugby league

Agree boogie. We are very lucky to have Robbo. While JT will be a fantastic addition to the coaching staff for his tactical and anylitical ability, I't's quite frustrating when many here say when we win it's all JT's great work but when we lose it's all Robbo's fault.

I think Robbo is a great coach but I would still be interested to hear his reasoning behind having our 3 best middle forwards sitting on the sideline together for 25 mins on Sunday. In all likelihood there is probably an excellent reason for it, but on the surface it looked like it might have been a bad move.
