Not taking away from an excellent win but when a game is over at HT, why was Watson not afforded more game time?

My bad. I read that as the last 20 min of each half. Which would still only be 3 at worst. Not one of my finer moments. ☺️ Apologies.

Watson was ready well before 20 to go, Friend motioned at the bench to signal I'm coming off, immediately after Fergo's try, 15 to go. Make of that what you will.

Why change something that is working

Because maybe next week Jake Friend or Luke Keary will tear a hamstring in the first 5 minutes and we will be sending on a guy with no gametime in the top grade to cover. Giving him time today can help with the combinations and match fitness in the top grade.

Watson is on the bench as pure back up in case of injury.
Watson would be fully aware of his role in the team. If he does't like too bad.
With the concussion rule Robbo wants a utility player.
I think the bench was used very well, Watson went on when one of our players went off for a concussion test and stayed on.
