I said his fullback play last year had loads of holes in it.

His conditioning, positional play, defence... all to be expected of an 18yr old kid in a bad side.

    Where am I wrong?

I believe he is a bonafide left centre and when he's next off contract he'll be a 1m a year centre if he applies himself. Which I'm sure he will.

In conclusion, you've twisted my words in another attempt to be negative.

Ah thats right it was 48-10 the Roosters way so I guess those 2 refs & who ever was in the bunker will be sacked after that performance.

Really good team performance this arvo by the Roosters who played with more aggression & discipline.
If you turn up to play then you dont have to worry about the refs.
Yep those officials will never see the Roosters again. I was wondering if part of their theory studies into becoming a ref, they use texts with pictures of players dressed in RWB? Subliminal conditioning hahaha....

Back to your original point about making a plan to re-sign him it's partially also why I disagreed with you that Gagai would be a better signing for us than Chambers. I think when you look at it, Gagai would be a long term prospect probably a 4 year contract which would take him to 2021.

Where as Chambers will be 29 in 2 weeks time, a 2 year contract that takes him until the end of 2019 (the same year Latrell comes off contract) would put us in a good position salary cap wise to re-sign Mitchell.
Fair points. In hindsight I agree.

I've seen enough of Manu to know that he'll make an excellent first grade centre so if the plan is to play him outside Chambers for 2-3 years then switch him to centre then that makes sense.

Signing Gagai would see us lose Manu in the long run.

There was plenty of holes before they got to latrell last year what a difference it makes when the forwards are on song

The bench timing worked well and not a Robbo forte. Someone said here a influence on Gordons goal kicking most unlikely as Gordon I knew would come good due to his experience and both the major reason in the signing.

i will apologise if i have misunderstood your comment to regarding his fullback play had holes i read that his overall game had holes in it but i think the questioning of his mental ability has been a little out of order across the board as you point out he is so young he cant be expected to be a greg inglis on day one lets just hope he stays with our club and becomes a great we would all love that i am sure apolgies tommy

SST was enormous. Different team when he and JWH fire.

SST is one of the elite NRL players. The good thing is that only we know it.

First time we have picked the right 17 all year!
                      And it paid dividends.
And the bench was used right. JT whispering in Robbo's ear?

Geez, just to think if Manu and latrell don't look back from here and are our long term centres or such. I thought fergo had one of his best today, if he keeps it up he can stay on the wing.

Perhaps skds erratic play makes it hard being next to him. In honesty the eels had nothing today and apart from us handing it over in a short period in that first half, we didn't let them do anything either.

There will be harder tasks ahead for them, here's hoping they keep going up.

How good is SST?!!! Hargreaves turning up the heat too.

Much improved first up contact in defense across the board, we were hurting them and they didn't like it at all.
