Rupert's son is probably pissed off that his young one is a Roosters Supporter !

Would be some interesting discussions around the dinner table.

      Him being a Broncos man.
Especially as his wife is a Manly supporter, and his kid an Easts supporter.
The arl/super league war is not over lol!

This link has an open letter from a dogs' fan sent to the dogs' CEO. Much of what she says equally applies to the perception of the roosters players' attitude and whether they care about winning or not

Not gonna bother watching for the rest of this season coz we can't make the 8 anymore (realistically) and don't seem to give a cr@p.

Shit happens. Thats what went wrong for the roosters this year. Analyse it all you want, blame whoever you want, but at the end of the day it just comes down to this...shit happens.

With the weight off expectation off their shoulders our boys will towel up Penrith and everyone will be saying where was THAT all year. We will come good and win more games than we lose and finish 10th and next year will be a better year.

Call me a dreamer but that's what I believe will happen.

              Go chooks.

Dude I am not trying to get into a slanging match with you or any of the others who have mocked my comments. To blame our performance this year solely on referees is indeed a ridiculous concept, I am not trying to do that. We dropped plenty of ball the other night and I saw some soft defence letting in tries (off the back of some questionable penalties). I saw the motivation drop in our boys the other night, they really did give up, I haven't seen that in the other losing games this year. Which was very disappointing, as earlier on I saw some signs of Todd starting to carve up.

Happen to think Braith is a good quality person. Have you had a think about what you might be saying at the press conferences if you had his job? Like the rest of the team he has not shined this year.

Our club is obviously dysfunctional right now and I do not know exactly why.

I do know that blaming and calling for the execution of Smith for all our troubles is just as simplistic and deluded as you dismissively mock me for being.

Yes I am biased. I won't join in bashing Smith. Fuk, imagine having his job at the moment.

See you at the game on Sunday Tony, I'm sure you'll be there with me cheering for the roosters.

I'm with you Ox ,the conspiracy theories are farking boring. There is a term used in AFL, it's called tanking.ie.when you have fark all chance to make the finals, you more or less put the cue in the rack for next season. It's hard for people to accept ,however next season will be Brian Smiths Judgement day.

There may be no chance of making the finals, but there is ample chance to re-build a functional, competitive unit with the desire to win every game they contest. If this means making some hard personnel changes then so be it. However, we are down to reserve graders due to injuries. We have missed I think particularly Maubs and Kennedy, and also Perrett. It's all very well to sack players (or coaches) but who are you going to replace them with? We've got to work with what we've got.

Actually, Maubs was often worth 6-12 points per match with his hole-running off Pearce and Carney (and yes Anasta). And as for Kenny-Dowall, it's been a long time since he's seen so little of the opposition's in-goal area in possession of the ball.
