A Canberra man has appeared in court after allegedly selling cocaine to two high-profile rugby league players after the Anzac Test last night.

Kiwis captain Jesse Bromwich and fellow player Kevin Proctor allegedly joined Canberra man Adrian Mark Crowther in Canberra's city centre.

Police allegedly observed Crowther on CCTV video preparing a white powder on his phone, before handing it to the two men, who rolled up bank notes and consumed the substance.

While both players were named in court, neither has been charged with an offence.
The men were in town to play the Anzac Test at GIO Canberra Stadium against the Kangaroos.

Crowther was also charged with possession of MDMA and was granted bail despite police objections.
He will be back in court later this month.

The Melbourne Storm, who Bromwich also plays for, has been contacted for comment.

so it appears that no-one from any other profession, like white collar workers, artists, advertising agencies, musicians and the like didn't get caught this week with cocaine? Just to confirm that it's only NRL personnel who have this habit...good to know for future reference...

Unfortunately It's the same with drink driving and domestic violence RWB , if you have a public profile, the media can sell papers.

If the cops have it all on CCTV then why haven't they been charged?

How come SKD is the only one charged?

what's going on with all this cocaine business this week is there a police operation investigating rugby league people I always found it strange that musicians who do recreational drugs are cool but athletes who do it are bad adults should be allowed to make a choice if they want to do drugs then let them

When Red posted the first thread, I though ok that's a bit off considering Damien's age (55 not 25) and profession but when the next thread came, it all became a little weird. Stevie Nicks is one of my favourite singer songwriters and she freely admits that she wrote over 80 of her most brilliant tracks whilst off her tree. I think this is either the media or a rival code doing some dirt digging.

I'm waiting patiently to see if either the nrl "integrity" unit, asada or the storm force these players to have mandatory tests to determine whether they consumed. Begs the question if this doesn't happen.

Give it up mate, he got busted. No need to drag others into it. Time for you and SKD to man up.

Very sure they are two separate incidents, I'm sure SKD was found to be in possession by the police, hence why he was charged with that offence.

Yes, but I meant the two incidents were separate, one has nothing to do with the other one was in Sydney the other in Canberra as BB was asking if SKD was charged why haven't the others.
