Wouldn't be the first time someone has put drugs in someone's pocket at a niteclub...nor the first time someone has done something in a niteclub etc to appear cool.

    • Maybe he accepted the drugs so as not to offend the person offering them...with the intention of throwing them away when he got home.
      There are many possible scenarios.

If that was the case, you would flush them down the toilet pretty quickly at the venue.

Maybe he didn't get the chance.
Seems to me that drug dealers would not like you flushing their free samples down the toilet.

We are all taught to say no to drugs BB. I admire your efforts though to continue to try see the good and not to judge so quickly.

Seriously, you have no idea about the real world we live in!!!

If that's what you believe, then you believe in the tooth fairy my friend.

As coke is out of your system quicker than weed or mdma and others, it is the "professionals" drug of choice.

And news today, two kiwi players and the sharks boss allegedly caught ...

The drugs aren't a magic pill that takes all their problems away but rather help's them cope allowing them to sort through their issues.

Some create suicidal thoughts and have caused many a poor innocent soul to take their own lives. Zoloft in particular can have bad side effects.

I added that comment for those pig ignorant ones on here who laughed at me a few pages back. It must be great never to have lost a child, had a bad breakup, battled some sort of illness or depression whilst caring for ageing parents, been assaulted or accused of a crime you didn't commit. There are many reasons why people turn to medication without realising the full effects. And no, I'm not a scientologist, just a survivor like many other members of this forum.

                    • If SKD is guilty...bought or accepted the drugs...then he should plead guilty...claim a "moment of weakness when depressed, having tried love that didn't work out" and throw himself on the mercy of the court/NRL

If he didn't buy or accept the drugs then he was set up...which needs investigating.

To be fair, it isn't allowed in mine either. I know exactly what the punishment would be too... I'd be deregistered from my profession and my workplace would terminate my contract immediately.

I have acquired a mental illness and life can get pretty darn low (sitting around at the same level for years, getting trampled all over and watching the world fly past me) but drugs aren't the solution.

SKD? My view is we need to get behind him. We don't know the facts but if he was intending to use it then it was a poor decision. He's gone close to suicide in the past and making the nuance that since he's been busted with drugs he musta hit somebody isn't helpful of the media at all. He still deserves respect and a way back. IMO his mental health should be the focus right now... talk about punishments later.

                          • If anyone on here thinks this was a one off, and that he hasn't tried it before believe in the tooth fairy. He has to go! We don't want to be pampering to him, holding his hand next year - he needs three, not one - and hoping he comes good. Cut him loose. He had his chance last year, got off and should of pulled his head in.

She could've been befriended by a handsome, friendly, english-speaking stranger...then tricked.
Trouble is...all the drug mules "have the same story"...so unless she can produce the said stranger, she's basically stuffed...same as Schapelle was.
IMO she should try for a plea deal...plead guilty, throw herself on the mercy of the court, have her lawyer state her age and that 'she's a mere girl', and hope for 4 years instead of 24...20 years can make a big difference when you're banged up in a horrid prison.
It's no good her pleading not guilty, as the drugs were in her bag...and she put the packages in her bag [without looking in them].
Drugs in your bag...you're guilty...end of story.
Oh why didn't she stay home in Australia.
