  • Goal kicker anyone???

Been in the media that Toups might be heading out next year. So are we thinking sign Flash to play wing and convert all Teddys try's?

Makes sense as with Flash on the Wing, we won't score many out wide, at least on his side.

Tedesco was kicking goals in the pre-season at the tigpies, he only stopped because Moses was more consistent. I suspect that Jason Taylor will be teaching James Tedesco to kick well.
        SUPER DRAGON!

          NO! NO!
          He has bad knees.
The last thing we needs is for him to be kicking goals and busting something.

How does he have bad knees? He's fine.

              Toups is going nowhere.

And "flash" would be even worse on the wing.

Goal kicking aside, which we might forgive for injury reasons, Gordon has been very solid so far this year. Wholehearted, committed, he's been great. I hope he continues to have a great year, win a premiership and either retire or move overseas for a bit of a pay day.

I'm happy with the way Toops has been playing.

We have goal kicking options with Mitchell, SST and Tedesco.

                  .
Clearly we arent watching the same player.

He is average at best. His goal kicking strike rate is one of the worst in the league. His defence on the line is non-existent and he is slow as a wet weekend.

James Tedesco is pain-free and ready to get his hands on the ball more as he enjoys the benefits of stem cell surgery to repair his damaged knee.
Playing the full season for the first time in his NRL career last year took its toll on Tedesco's body. His left knee was in bad shape and left him unable to train before games.

I'm somewhere in between on this one. He has been solid, probably organises D well. I certainly think however with some of the shape we now have in attack someone a bit more explosive at the back could be devastating this year, Gordon just plods along. Happy to have him this year, but definitely not next

He played the full season last year. Played origin. Think he's pretty much played the full season this year. Will play origin again. He's fine.

Agree on all points. Gordon has been very good for us. You don't worry that he'll drop the ball and he's always in the right place at the right time in defence. The hole he ran to score that try against souths was beautiful. Came up with the goods against Penrith as well. Yeah his goal kicking has been shit and his speed isn't fantastic but we could do a whole lot worse.

He's Frankenstein but he can still play.
