With Matterson out injured, and everyone on this forum expressing concerns over the Stains pack and our defensive deficiencies with Manu and Ferguson paired up, I think Aubesson should be moved to centre to stiffen up the defence, thus giving us an extra big forward in the pack.

To win on Tuesday, we need to eliminate their main play maker, Widdop. I'd have Cordner, SST and JWH run at him every time we have the ball and make him tackles his heart out and tire him. If our forwards can negate theirs and show a little more controlled aggression, and we don't make 10+errors, thereby completing at over 80% , we will win and win well.Not by a landslide but with enough dominance and control to deliver the message to the rest of the comp that we are in with a serious chance to give this comp a shake.

Piss take aside I don't agree with weakening our attack to strengthen our defence. Manu is a beast and should be given early ball. We will need to score points to beat the dragons this year. They average about 30 a game. No latrell in the side is hard enough rather than replacing him with aubusson.

I think it all starts and ends with the forwards - dominated by Manly and Bashed up by Brisbane for instance - We were certainly not that great in our first 4 wins of the season against Titans/Panthers/Dogs/Souths to be suddenly deemed to be premiership favourites or even in our 5th win against Newcastle. Lucky to make 40 metres each set against Brisbane and it would be interesting to see our average metres gained per set of six so far this season before the last tackle kick.

A lot of our mistakes are on the back of the lack of go forward and dominance by the forwards in both attack and defence as we are struggling to put pressure on the oppositions defence in our sets of 6's and our defence and even attack is always under pressure as a result of the more metre's other teams make in their set of 6's. If we are to have a chance the forwards need to collectively as a group stand up. I know people are all smiles looking like we have signed Tedesco but the area that really needed to be fixed was and still is the forwards as that is where games are won and lost.

I think we win by scoring tries early and making them defend. Tire out their forwards, cramp Widdop's kicking and leave them in a position where it's pretty clear their lack of a proper first grade 5/8 and hooker is a weakness against Keary/Friend (2 of the best in the business).

Yeah Widdop can kick them outta trouble... but so could Hodkinson last week (hence why the game looked even against the Knights). If anybody thinks that Packer, De Belin and Vaughan are better than Cords, JWH, Napa,SST, Maubs and Liu then they are a dead set mug!!! Frizell's their only decent forward and we can mark him outta the game if we play properly.

Should be easy if we play properly IMO. But will we? CAN'T BLAME LATRELL FOR THIS ONE ROBBO!!!
