I appreciate your comments, but he is only 31, 32 in September, so I'm talking about a 1 or 2 year deal, he averages about 130 metres per game, with 14 hit ups and 38 tackles......AVERAGE, I think he would be a good influence on any younger props coming through, he is plenty tough and can create. I would like us to get both him and Woods. Woods will want a 4 or 5 year deal at about $500K per, but we might get Graham at a good price, say $250K?

Mate kane Evans will be on more than 250k. That rookie tigers winger makes more than 250k. Graham will be 500k+.

No way, not for the money he will want and not at his age.

I'm quite happy with out starting middle forwards of JWH, NAPA and SST moving forward.

Our problem is that beyond those 3 starters, its a bit sketchy.

I'm no huge Tetevano fan, LIU has only been passable of late and i don't think SMITH or KNIGHT are suited to the middle - its my understanding they are specialist edge forwards.

Opposition teams are allowed to stand offside all night when they play us.
Allowed to hold our players down all game...as well as rough them up without much censure.
Allowed to strip the ball 2 in a tackle, no penalty, we lose the ball, they score soon after...eg...ball stripped from JWH last match. Showed up clearly on the big screen, NRL does nothing. NRL is a joke.
Opposition get penalties to get them into our 20, regularly.
Sure looks like we're made tackle for the first 30 mins of games, wearing ourselves out.

Watch the games closely, you'll see it all clearly.
Beetroot face documented it in the paper...and nothing has changed since then.

We get penalised for even looking like tackling opposition players properly.

The ruck policing vs Manly was atrocious, in saying that i watched the greg hartley interview on Sterlo, and he said he was sick of the ruck not getting clearing and players walking off the mark.
The chooks are trying to play clean but become so succeptible to others that get given leeway.

So you are saying he will get $750,000, I dont think so. According to the internet.....for what its worth, his current contract which he signed in 2014 is for $425,000, so I might have been a bit low at $250,000, but I think we could get him for 2 years for somewhere around $650,000 total, $325 per, and if the coach thinks that's his value, I would love to see him in our team.

If teams are offering Woods 800k Graham would have to be that price at least then being an International and captain of his national side- Dogs have played in all finals series and 2 Grand finals since he has been with them so he has obviously contributed to this achievement- Woods has never played finals football with WT- Better off going for Josh Reynold and have him as lock

Stay away from Woods. We need hard mongrel forwards which opposition fear not big cuddly teddy bears.

Well why did the media report a $2.8m for four years at the time?

Sure the media figure might not be 100 percent accurate but they wouldn't be out by as much as you are suggesting.

Zerotackle.com has Graham getting $700k per season.

                            What's your internet source?.

Graham's $2.8m contract is back ended so will be paid $1m in 2018, no wonder the Dogs are trying to offload him. That said, no one will pay the $1m, so the Dogs will still have to pay some of his contract, which will count against their cap in 2018.
