I thought he filled in courageously tonight. I didn't think he had it in him to play at hooker for extended minutes. He proved me (and I'm sure a few others on here) wrong.
Service was much better than previous games, made 33 tackles and chose to run at the right times.

I also think Carter played strongly in his first display for us too.

Of course he would acquit himself well.

He and Carter played very well covering for Jake.

But then again half of the Chookpen were calling for Jake's head on a plate last year. They then shit themselves silly worrying once he is out injured and deathriding Watson and his so called lack of ability to play 9. But Hey it's the Chookpen!

I am not going to criticise his application, although I will pose the question as to whether Dummy half gives him the ability to showcase his real X value ?

Given that he has the speed to burn most people in broken play, the ruck was a bit congested for his style.
