  • John Lee- CEO To Depart

The Sydney Roosters today announced that CEO John Lee will depart the Club at the end of the month.
Mr Lee was the Club’s first CEO since 2012, and into his second year in the role.
Mr Lee said he was disappointed to be parting ways with the Club at such a positive time.
“2017 promises to be a good year, with success already on and off the field,” said Mr Lee.
The Roosters Board of Directors appreciates the energy and skill set Mr Lee brought to the Club, and thank him for his service, wishing him every success in the future.
The Roosters will commence a recruitment process in the coming weeks.

Don't tease. This Carty thing took more out of him than he'd admit. I've always respected the hell out of Phil Gould.

What happened here? I thought Mr Lee was going alright. Good luck to him in his future endeavours.

I could not think of anything more backward than getting Gould back to the Roosters.
Last time he was here he did his best to screw over everyone that was sucessful
Thankfully Nick saw it and we don't see him lingering around any longer

I would rather the old Parramatta Board & CEO running our club instead of having Gus back.....5 year plan at the Panthers has taken more than 6 years as Shane Flanagan put it so bluntly last week.

Maybe they are trying to do it without steroids unlike flanno's sharks. He is as much a cheat in the game as anybody else.
