Why would we be paying a huge chunk of his Titans deal? They were desperate and we took advantage of that fact. Their first offer late last year was laughable but the tables were turned and they coughed up what they had to.

No I don't think he will play for them this week, unless the NRL allows them to break their new masterful rule.

I don't think we will pay a huge part. That's why the Titans shied away from him weeks ago. Coz we wouldn't pay a huge portion. And now injuries have forced their hand. So when they came back for him we held all the cards.

Yeah, the new masterful rule definitely needs a bit of tweaking. Or maybe it just needs to be more sensibly applied.
What good reason is there to prevent poor old Dale playing this weekend? To stop a glut of players switching club mid-week?
I feel for Copley - last year he was thrown into a team - at the last minute - that was to be without its best players for a couple of months. Then he gets injured - but I thought he came back alright. Now he's denied the chance to be there for his new team when it really needs him, denied the chance to gain the respect of his new team mates when the chips are down.
